Syracuse, N.Y. — Bankers Healthcare Group, the leading provider of financial solutions for healthcare professionals, donated 70 turkeys to Syracuse City School District families, giving them the chance to have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
“The BHG family is fortunate to have the resources to provide for our neighbors, and this is a great opportunity and privilege for us to give back to our community,” said BHG Chairman/CEO Al Crawford. “We look forward to continuing our partnership and doing even more with the Syracuse City School District to support their students and families. We wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.”
BHG delivered 72 turkeys to seven elementary schools and worked with the school district to identify families in need. A number of turkeys were added to Thanksgiving dinner bags prepared for families by Dr. Edwin E. Weeks Elementary School, which was facing a turkey shortage.
“BHG came at just the right time,” said Dr. Weeks Principal Carin Reeve-Larham. “We’re so grateful for this generous surprise that will be appreciated by so many of our district’s families.”
